The production process of Internal&External PE Coated Steel Pipe is strictly controlled to ensure the quality and adhesion of the PE coating on both inner and outer surfaces.First,the steel pipe undergoes strict surface pretreatment:it is derusted by sandblasting or shot blasting to reach Sa2.5 level cleanliness,then degreased and dried to remove oil,dust and moisture.After pretreatment,the steel pipe is preheated to a suitable temperature(usually 180-220℃)before the PE coating is applied—hot-dipping is the most common method for PE coating,which ensures a uniform,thick and firmly bonded coating on both inner and outer walls,with a thickness ranging from 0.5mm to 3mm.
